There is also an 11 slide PowerPoint presentation to go with it, that is a full teaching PowerPoint, with recap of previous lesson, learning outcomes, gauging prior knowledge, teaching slides, keywords, 2 extension tasks and a recap of learning.

A Scheme of Work Year Plan (year overview) for the ICT/Computing Essential Digital Skills Qualification (EDSQ) for Entry Level 3 & Level 1. The year plan uses the Pearson curriculum specification (although can easily be adapted to suit other awarding bodies such as NOCN or OCN). Starting the academic year 2024-2025. Useful as a guide when creating your schemes of work or can be put at the front of students’ folders to chart progress. Ideal for SEN students, the course curriculum is spaced out through the year to allow plenty of time for completion and repeat assessments if needed. It covers all five units: Using Devices and Handling Information Creating and Editing Communicating Transacting Being Safe and Responsible Online.

It gives advice to students of things they need to consider when planning their journey. It also encourages budgeting skills.
